Don't let the subject fool you. Technically I'm supposed to be busy, but I'm procrastinating and thus I am not busy. At least not until Wednesday were I'll proceed to run around like a chicken with its head cut off.

Thursday I fly out to Grand Rapids where I'll be staying until the morning of the 6th. My brother is getting married on the 3rd and what kind of sister would I be if I missed my only brother's wedding?

So in the next few days I need to force myself to be productive. This is not going to be easy. My list of To-Dos divided into RL and RP.

RL To-Dos
- Get medicine from the pharmacy
- Get carry-on bag from cousin
- Do laundry
- Pack clothing + things to occupy self on plane
- Write directions for cousin concerning cat care (then proceed to text her every day to remind her)
- Make it to the comic shop to buy newest Children's Crusade (what? comics have high priority)
- Do a wee bit of cleaning including litter box
- Get cards for brother + family (thank you dollar stores!)

RP To-Dos
- Skip/Holly thread (PSL)
- Les/Wanda/Strange thread (MP)
- Les/Clint thread (MP)
- Les and/or Doug in Sophomore Water Fight thread (MP)
- Work on Venus app [for I am a glutton for punishment] (MP)
- Get a thread for Misty and/or Doug (MP)
- Ask for a mini-hiatus come Wednesday [but still post in the rpg because I'm an addict] (MP)

You know what I'm craving? A Marvel Next Generation game, but that could be because I've slowly started developing a daughter for Loki. They have a wonderful relationship. This is the song I think of when I think of the girl's thoughts on her relationship with her dad. Oh Loki, so tortured that you weren't accepted by Odin yet so consumed with revenge you don't acknowledge your own child. Of course, everyone else knows her father is Loki and she's ostracized because of it. Thor would probably try to smooth things over, but he can only do so much, right? That's how I see it turning out, anyway.

Uh... so yeah. A Next Generation game. That would be awesome-sauce.

I've gone on a crazy RP apping spree. Guess I really can't go without being in a game. I think some people would consider that a bad thing.

So I didn't get the job I interviewed for, but I suppose it's for the best. If I got it I would have had to travel for 5 hours each day. Definitely would have been time consuming.

Also got my internet back after nearly 3 days without it. I had to go over to my cousin's these last few days just to get my internet fix because I just can't handle being without the internet for more than a night. I'm so addicted.

The need-to-know concerning life for Carlin in recent months:
→ Learned a good chuck of the metro system
→ Drove on a variety of canyon roads & highways
→ Drove from one end of Sunset Blvd to the other (it ends in a residential neighborhood)
→ Found a place called Hungry Valley (the view of the stars is amazing)
→ Visited a bunch of places (Central Library, Bradbury Building, Santa Monica Pier, Calico Ghost Town, etc)
→ Had job interview
→ Waiting for word about said job
→ Not in a RP for the first time in a while (I don't know what I'm going to do with myself)

Real life has been uneventful. So why, WHY, have I lost nearly all motivation to do anything?

I keep telling myself I need to post in my RPs, but when I try my whole being just goes "eh." It's not just RP, either. I go onto WoW to level and before I even move out of the stupid town to do said leveling I give up and quit. I'm also doing this at work. So being unmotivated at work is normal, but you have to push past it and get shit done... but I'm having the damnedest time doing that.

I want to take a brief hiatus at my games, but I have threads going and I think a couple of my characters need to be updated. I don't want people to think I'm hiatus-ing just to get out of that. Though I'm sure they aren't too thrilled it's taking me to tag things either...

Ugh. Just. Ugh.

PS: What do you guys tend to do when you suffer from this? I'm in desperate need of relief from this crap.

Days 2 & 3 of the RP Meme

Benadryl totally kills my brain. I swear, I can be creative as hell with some good ideas but that medicine renders me incapable of writing said ideas down. I have a Todd narrative I'm just dying to get done (we get a glimpse at his religious side!) but... yeah. Brain does not want me to form coherent sentences and dialogue.

Speaking of Todd - MEESHA! When are you going to do that Outsiders plot so Todd can go all "RAWR" then run off?

Fun times to be had! I tried to avoid tootoo obscure stuff...

How it works:

It is coming together quite nicely! The game start will be on August 28th and is currently taking applications. I'm busy trying to make everything nice and organized at the moment. Excited to see how this game goes.

Also, anyone want to play Yahweh? He's God's older brother. The poor guy is constantly being mistaken for his older brother on Earth and it appears this belief is messing with the two at the company. Even if they don't end up looking like one another they still get confused from time to time. I'd love to be able to explore that dynamic. Especially with Lucifer having a crazy man-crush on Yahweh xD Awkwardness.

Black Hand is once again in need of plot. I'll email Bill and Joan about a GL/Black Hand meet up that should have happened after the whole Jade fiasco. Anyone have any other ideas for William? We need more villains for him to interact with!

Obsidian is descending into darkness. I need to figure what is happening in terms of game-wide plot in the next month or so. I'm hoping for some kind of Outsiders plot (hell, I'll even make it a solo narrative if I need to) that will have Todd go a bit too far, then run off for a time. Then he will emerge as Evil!Todd and try to cover the world in darkness. This, obviously, would be a game wide plot. Must discuss this with people.

Red Hood is doing his amazing thing. He's covered for plot.

I'm going to have Cecilia jump in for the dinos that will be coming after the powerswap. For now she's just working and being confused.

All the gods work in a corporate building out in wherever for a company called Existence Co. They have their jobs and their departments that have them taking care of the going-ons of the universe. No one knows or has met the CEO. He simply goes by the nickname B. Bang.

Their lives are pretty much like the people they have to look over. They have to go to work, deal with others, build relationships and basically deal with the nuttiness that is being a higher being.

So, why all the boring lives filled with constant conflict and grief for the people of the universe? Well, dammit, if the gods have to deal with it daily their charges are going to have to suffer as well!

Oh yeah. We could totally rock this.
